MisInDeBuurt.nl helpt jou om een H. Mis te vinden in de buurt!
MisInDeBuurt is een website en app die je helpt om een Heilige Mis (ofwel Eucharistieviering) te vinden bij jou in de buurt, zelfs als je op vakantie of zakenreis bent. De focus van de app ligt op Nederlands grondgebied. Hoewel er al verschillende websites zijn om een H. Mis in de buurt te vinden, hebben deze vaak hun beperkingen. Bijvoorbeeld, de mistijden zijn niet altijd up-to-date.
Op MisInDeBuurt zijn alleen Heilige Missen te vinden waarvan bij ons bekend is dat deze worden gecelebreerd volgens het Romeins Missaal, of door een niet-Romeinse ritus die onder de Katholieke Kerk valt. Bovendien worden de mistijden handmatig up-to-date gehouden. Zo kun je met een gerust hart naar de H. Mis gaan!
Ontbreekt er een kerk? We horen het graag!
Let op: op MisInDeBuurt zijn geen gezins- en familievieringen en Woord- en Communievieringen te vinden. Mogelijk wordt MisInDeBuurt in een later stadium uitgebreid met deze vieringen. Verder is het goed om te weten dat wij ons uiterste best doen om alle mistijden up-to-date te houden door maandelijks (soms zelfs wekelijks) te kijken naar de verschillende tijden en eventueel contact op te nemen met de kerken. Wij zijn echter afhankelijk van de input van de kerken en dus kunnen wij nooit 100% garantie geven dat de H. Mis daadwerkelijk plaatsvindt.

MisInDeBuurt is a website and app that helps you find a Holy Mass (or Eucharist) near you, even if you are on vacation or a business trip. The focus of the app is on Dutch territory. While there are already several websites to find a Holy Mass near you, these often have their limitations. For example, the Mass times are not always up-to-date.
On MisInDeBuurt, only Holy Masses can be found that are known to us to be celebrated according to the Roman Missal, or by a non-Roman rite approved by the Roman Catholic Church. Moreover, the Holy Mass times are kept manually up-to-date. So you can go to Holy Mass with peace of mind!
Is there a church missing? We’d love to hear about it!
Please note that MisInDeBuurt does not include family celebrations and Word and Communion celebrations. It is possible that MisInDeBuurt will be expanded to include these celebrations at a later stage. Furthermore, it is good to know that we do our utmost to keep all Mass times up-to-date by looking at the different times monthly (sometimes even weekly) and contacting the churches if necessary. However, we depend on input from the churches and so we can never give a 100% guarantee that Holy Mass will actually take place.
